Using the Think Standard Library as-is

  1. When your in the new Figma file that you’d like to use the Think Standard Library for, locate the left panel and navigate to the Assets tab.
  2. In the Assets tab, select the book icon in the top right corner. It should open the modal pictured in the image to the right.
  3. In the modal, look for the Think Standard Library file within the Design System Starter Kit project and enable it via the toggle button.
  4. Once that’s done you are ready to start designing using the styles and components available in the design system file in Figma.

<aside> 💡 Important Note: The duplicated file is not connected to the original library. Any changes you make will not be connected to the main file, and any updates made to the main file cannot be synced to your duplicated file.

  1. Open the following file, Think Standard Library

  2. In the top toolbar, select the down arrow next to the file name.

  3. Once the file is duplicated, navigate back to your Figma dashboard.

  4. Locate the duplicated file, identify the project/team you’d like to use the Think Standard Library for and drag the file to the desired project. Alternatively, you can open the duplicated file in the same dialog you used to duplicate the file, choose “Move to project…”
